Dear Railfan,

We have just a few seats left on our Monday, October 18 and Tuesday, October 19 steam photo freights on the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad featuring 2-8-0 # 734 pulling ten freight cars and a caboose. Passengers will ride in coaches pulled by a GP-30 which will be dropped for the runbys. The fall foliage should be at its peak.

These trips will offer outstanding photo and video opportunities for the serious railfan photographer thanks to the extensive tree cutting and brush clearing work done in the fall of 2009.  Additional work will be performed next month to optimize the photo locations.

The Monday trip is limited to 60 tickets. The ticket price is $139.00.  The Tuesday trip will feature rare, eastbound runbys in the morning. This is a low capacity trip that will be limited to 40 seats. Its cost is $189.00.  Lunch at the Frostburg station is $11.00. We have also arranged for a special room rate at the local Best Western Motel.

Only a few seats remain.  Please call Carl Franz at 240-720-8686 or send an e-mail to cmfrr@aol.com to verify seat availability before sending in a reservation form and payment.

Questions?  Please call Carl at the above number.

The trip flier is attached. It is also pasted at the end of this e-mail with a lot of aol induced format errors. (please use the attachment if you can)  Thanks.
